Growing Avocado

This is my way of growing avocado after reading what is in the net. The recommended way is to remove the skin of the seed before immersing into the water. No reason was given. 
This experiment shows that after a few weeks, the skin of the seed started to rot, dirtying the water.

The seed on the right started to grow a tail (root)

Shoot out, the rest still sleeping.
Day 90 (Sept 2016)
The seed on the left in the earlier photos has rotten away. Two seeds still viable.The second seed has started to grow roots.

Jianmen Pass, Day 6

"一夫当关，万夫莫开" (Yīfū dāng guān, wàn fū mò kāi) The Ancient Shu Roads (蜀道) form a vast network spanning over 1,000 kilometres, connecting present-day Xi’an and Chengdu across the rugged Qinling and Daba Mountains. Built more than 2,000 years ago, these roads stand as a remarkable testament to ancient Chinese engineering and the early postal system. With a history dating back 3,000 years, many of these towns and fortresses gained legendary status, particularly during the Three Kingdoms period (around 1,800 years ago). Among them, Jianmenguan Fortress (Jianmen Fortress) is the most renowned, often hailed as the greatest stronghold along the Ancient Shu Roads.
