Ala-Kul (Ala-Lake) is a rock-dammed glacial lake. It lies at an altitude of 3,532 m. It is 2.8 km long and 600–700 m wide.
This Blue Green Turquoise Lake is considered as one of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan.
